about the webmaster

online, i go by the name irid, pronounced "ee-rid". i am a genderqueer lesbian that uses they/them pronouns, and i'm currently attending college as a stem major to later enter the medical field. i think its a little ironic and silly, given the theme of my blog is centered around castorice, whose touch brings death. however, i've been told by a dear friend that i remind them of her, and through their extensive infodumps about castorice (and the story of amphoreus as a whole), i soon developed fondness for the character.

i love all beautiful things and fill my life with them as much as possible. jewelry, journals, sketchbooks, clothes, books, my personal spaces are like dragon nests of treasure. i love to draw, primarily with graphite and colored pencils. the subjects of my drawings are mostly women which is self-explanatory. :p on a similar note, i love journaling and drawing cute journal spreads based on visual themes i like and characters i love. journaling brings me so much joy! i also find great joy in expressing myself through fashion and make sure to use as many layers and accessories as possible. writing is another favorite of mine... i prefer to write more personal pieces that are very fueled by emotion. i expect to write many of those here. :p
